2 Ingredient DIY Hair Mask!

This DIY hair mask is a game changer and I guarantee that you will LOVE the way your hair looks and feels! I personally use this hair mask 1-2 times a month and the great part is it won't break the bank!! AND you can get everything off of Amazon! *Happy Prime Dance*

All you will need is a bottle of Pumpkin Seed Oil & Coconut Oil!

Yep, that's it! The magic is HOW you use this mask.

Pumpkin Seed Oil has several benefits for your hair! It contains:

Vitamin A Helps strengthen hair shaft while promoting the natural balance of sebum for shiny vibrant hair. Biotin An essential B-vitamin also known as B7, is the hair growth champion. Essential for the body's production of structurally sound keratin, which is the protein making up your hair strands.  Omega 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids Found naturally in pumpkin seed oil reap anti-inflammatory properties that help open up your hair follicles and promote new hair growth. Sulfur Is a major component of keratin and is found in high concentrations in pumpkin seed oil. Sulfur has also been used to help fight psoriasis, dandruff, eczema, folliculitis and scalp conditions for a healthy scalp.

Coconut Oil also has several benefits for luscious locks! Like helping to improve hair dryness, improve scalp health, protects hair from protein loss, protects hair from UV exposure, supports hair growth and adds volume and shine!

Here is the Pumpkin Seed Oil and Coconut Oil that I use! Click the pictures for the link!

Side Note: You can also use Castor Oil! I will say that it's much thicker than Pumpkin Seed Oil, but it's manageable!

Before Bed:

When it comes to applying the mask, all you need is a way to tie your hair up into a top knot and a towel for your pillow! It's best to start with dry hair and to brush out all of the tangles. Once your hair is brushed you will want to begin with the Pumpkin Seed Oil and pour it directly onto you scalp and lathering it down the shaft of your hair.

Once you have done some Pumpkin Seed Oil and have coated your hair, begin to work the coconut oil starting from the scalp. I like to alternate both oils and make sure that I coat the tips of my hair.

Wrap your hair up into a high top knot and go to sleep!!

Morning:

Yay!! Wash your hair with your favorite Shampoo & Conditioner and style as usual! Your hair is going to be shiny, soft, and silky!!
