Why do I need a Starter Kit?
It has everything you need! LipSense is designed to work with our gloss to give you all day wear. A starter kit comes with 1 color of choice, 1 Glossy Gloss and 1 remover! The LipSense Glosses are formulated to work with the long-lasting technology of LipSense, whereas other gloss formulations may break down the staying power of LipSense. The glosses are also incredibly moisturizing and help keep your lips feeling smooth, soft and hydrated! Once you buy your starter kit, you can buy as many colors as you want on their own and re-order glosses and remover as needed.

Why
Why do my lips tingle when I apply LipSense?
The tingling sensation you may feel on your first application is the cosmetic grade SD alcohol evaporating and is the delivery system for the LipSense. It is totally normal! Some don't ever feel the sensation if your lips are properly hydrated! The dryer the lips, the more you may feel the tingle. As you continue to wear LipSense, you will find that the tingle will subside almost completely.
Cosmetic grade SD alcohol also keeps your LipSense tube bacteria free!

The Science behind LipSense
This unique product is waterproof and does not kiss off, smear off, rub off, or budge off! And, just as important it does not dry out your lips. In fact, it restores the moisture content of your lips when used properly. LipSense Liquid Lip Color can last anywhere between 4 and 18 hours.
LipSense is a non-wax liquid lip color that stays on your skin. LipSense provides a natural shield from the sun. The proprietary formulations and color pigments in LipSense help create a mechanical covering for the lips. That means the skin on your lips are protected from the sun’s rays by the color pigments, therefore your lips are more protected from harmful rays. That is just one of the reasons your lips become so smooth and soft with consistent use of LipSense.
The patented formulation technology includes Cosmetic grade Denatured Alcohol, which is nothing close to Isopropyl Alcohol–or rubbing alcohol. In fact, you need Denatured Alcohol to apply LipSense to lips. While rubbing alcohol instantly removes LipSense from the skin. We do not recommend the use of rubbing alcohol on the skin because it dries out the skin.
